Das LAN8720 Ethernet Modul ist ein low-power 10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX PHY (Physical Layer) Sendeempfänger mit variabler Signalspannung. Das LAN 8720 Ethernet Modul entspricht dem IEEE 802.3-2005 Standard und unterstützt Ethernet MAC mittels standard RMII Schnittstelle.

Das LAN8720 Ethernet Modul unterstützt sowohl 10Mbps (10BASE-T) als auch 100Mbps (100BASE-TX). Das LAN8720 Modul detektiert dabei automatisch die bestmögliche Übertragungsrate. Mittels HP Auto-MDIX kann selbst eine direkte Netzwerkverbindung mittels einem Cross-Over LAN Kabel hergestellt werden.

LAN Ethernet PHY Schnittstellen Modul

Gemäß dem IEEE 802.3-2005 Standard sind sämtliche digitalen Pins bis zu 3,6V tollerant. Mittels dem integriertem Spannungsregler (3,3V auf 1,2V) kann das LAN8720 Ethernet Modul mit einer typischen 3,3V Spannungsversorgung betrieben werden.

The LAN8720 Ethernet Module supports communication with an Ethernet MAC via a standard RMII interface. It contains a full-duplex 10-BASE-T/100BASE-TX transceiver and supports 10Mbps (10BASE-T) and 100Mbps (100BASE-TX) operation. The LAN8720 Ethernet Module implements auto-negotiation to automatically determine the best possible speed and duplex mode of operation. HP Auto-MDIX support allows the use of direct connect or cross-over LAN cables.

LAN Ethernet PHY Intreface Module

Per IEEE 802.3-2005 standards, all digital interface pins are tolerant to 3.6V. The LAN8720 Ethernet Module can be configured to operate on a single 3.3V supply utilizing an integrated 3.3V to 1.2V linear regulator.
