Das ESP32 WROOM32 Entwicklerboard basiert auf der Xtensa Dual Core 32bit MCU in Kombination mit einem 4MB SPI Flash Speicher.

Im Vergleich zu typischen ESP32 Entwicklerboards verfügt dieses ESP32 Entwicklerboard über eine USB-C Buchse.
Die generelle Spannungsversorgung erfolgt dabei über eine integrierte USB-C Schnittstelle.
Ferner verfügt das ESP32 WROOM32Entwickler Board je nach Version, wahlweise über einen
- CH340 USB TTL Konverter
- oder
- CP2102 USB TTL Konverter
,sodass eine direkte, serielle Kommunikation über die USB Schnittstelle erfolgen kann.
