Das Funktionsprinzip eines Magnetfeld- / Kompass- Sensors basiert auf der Beziehung zwischen einem elektrischem und magnetischem Feld. Sobald sich Elektronen in eine Richtung bewegen, entsteht gelichermassen ein Magnetfeld.

Die jeweilige Richtung des herrschenden Erdmagnetfeldes beeinflusst den Elektronenfluss im Sensor. Durch eine entsprechende Differnzierung der aktuellen Änderungen interpretiert der Magnetfeldsensor die akutelle Richtung.

Die Signalausgabe des 3 Achsen Magnetfeld- Kompass- Modul erfolgt über die I2C Schnittstelle.

Triple Axis Magnetic Field Compass Module available in 2 Versions:

  • GY-273 Modul based on HMC5883L Sensor from Honeywell

 

The working principle of compass sensor is based on relationship betwen electric and magnetic field. Soon as electrons start travelling in one direction during a magnetic field is created.

The direction of the earth’s magnetic field affects the flow of electrons in the sensor. By measuring these changes in current, the sensor will be able to detect direction.

The signal output of the 3 Axis magnetic filed compass module is based on I2C protocol.
