Das Lichtsensormodul basiert auf dem VEML7700 Sensor von Vishay.

Im Vergleich zu üblichen Lichtsensoren erlaubt der VEML7700 Sensor eine direkte Umsetzung auf lx / Lux SI-Einheit der Beleuchtungsstärke.

Basierend auf typischen Referenzwerten wie beispielsweise

• Nacht: 0,001-0,02 Lux
• Mondschein: 0,02 – 0,3 Lux
• Tageslicht Innenraum wolkig: 5 – 50 Lux
• Tageslicht Aussen 50 – 500 Lux
• Tageslicht Innenraum sonnig: 100 – 1000 Lux

kann eine direkte Interpretation des aktuellen Umgebungslichts erfolgen.

Durch seinen integrierten 16-Bit Analog Digital Converter erreicht das VEML7700 Sensor Modul
