Das Dual-PWM-Motor-Diver-Board basiert auf dem TB6612FNG-Dual-Motortreiber-IC von Toshiba.

Der TB6612 kann sowohl 2 unabhängig von einander bidirektionale DC-Motoren oder einen bipolaren Schrittmotor steuern.

Das Dual PWM Motor Diver Board unterstützt Motorspannungen von 4,5 V bis 13,5 V und einen Spitzenstromausgang von 3 A pro Kanal (1 A kontinuierlich).

Der TB6612 verfügt über MOSFET-basierte H-Brücken, welche effizienter sind als BJT-basiernde H-Brücken, wie beispielsweise dem L298N und LB1836M verwendet werden, Die Mosfet basierende H-Brücke erreicht somit einen höheren Strom bei besserer Eiffizienz. n

This dual PWM Motor Diver Board is based on Toshiba’s TB6612FNG dual motor driver IC.

The TB6612 can independently control two bidirectional DC motors or one bipolar stepper motor.

The dual PWM Motor Diver Board supports motor voltage from 4.5 V to 13.5 V and a peak current output of 3 A per channel (1 A continuous).

 

The TB6612 has MOSFET-based H-bridges which are much more efficient than the BJT-based H-bridges used in older drivers such as the L298N and LB1836M. Mosfet based H-bridges allows more current to be delivered to the motors.

TB6612 H-bridge Motor Driver Board Features:

  • Dual-H-bridge motor driver: can drive two DC motors or one bipolar stepper motor
  • Recommended motor voltage (VMOT): 4.5 V to 13.5 V (can operate down to 2.5 V with derated performance)
  • Logic voltage (VCC): 2.7 V to 5.5 V
  • Output current maximum: 3 A per channel
  • Output current continuous: 1 A per channel (can be paralleled to deliver 2 A continuous)
  • Maximum PWM frequency: 100 kHz
  • Built-in thermal shutdown circuit
  • Filtering capacitors on both supply lines
  • Reverse-power protection on the motor supply
