Das EI-OT ESP8266 ESP-01+ Modul basiert auf dem ESP8266EX, identisch mit dem Standard ESP-01 / ESP-01S Modul, verfügt aber über einen größeren Flash Speicher sowie 10 Pins und zusätzliche GPIO’s.

Das EI-OT ESP-01+ Modul verfügt die Tasmota Firmware für 4MB ESP8266 Module und erlaubt ein OTA (Over the Air) Update auf die gewünschte Tasmota Firmware

Das EI-OT ESP-01+ Modul wurde für den erweiterten Einsatz eines ESP-01 optimiert.

schneller 32Mbit Flash Speicher unterstützt bis zu 2x120MHz. im Dual und bis zu 4x104MHz. im Quad Modus
GPIO0 ist wie beim Standard ESP-01 Modul verfügbar um den Flash Modus zu aktivieren
GPIO16 unter anderem benötigt für Deep Sleep Wake Up ersetzt den GPIO2 des Standard ESP-01
CH_EN wurde nicht ausgeführt und durch den GPIO12 ersetzt
GPIO4 und GPIO5 (oftmals für I2C verwendet) wurden auf 2 zusätzliche Pins, Pin 9 und Pin 10 ausgeführt

Insofern GPIO2 bei dem jeweiligen Modul benötigt werden sollte, muss die Signalausgabe durch GPIO16 innerhalb der Firmware ersetzt werden. Des Weiteren werden Pin9 und Pin10 (GPIO4 und GPIO5) nicht mit dem 8-poligen Sockel verbunden / bleiben frei.
