  • Arduino
  • ESP8266
  • ESP32
  • Raspberry
  • ….

Die Signalausgabe des GY-521 erfolgt mittels I2C Schnittstelle (0x68 Adresse standard / 0x69 Adresse AD0 = HIGH)

  • standard I2C Adresse 0x68
  • 0x69 Adresse AD0 = HIGH

The GY-521 Module is based on the MPU-6050 IC from InvenSense.

The GY-521 its a typical 3-axis accelerometer Gyroscope. The GY-521 has an integrated 16-bit AD Converter and supports

  • an accelerometer range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, ±16g
  • a Gyroscope range of ±250°/s, ± 500°/s, ± 1000°/s, ± 2000°/s
  • Temperature

The GY-521 supports 3.3V – 5V power supply and is usable for a wide range of applications in combination with

  • Arduino
  • ESP8266
  • ESP32
  • Raspberry
  • ….

The Signal Output is based on I2C Interface

  • 0x68 standard I2C Address
  • 0x69 optional I2C Address (AD0 Pin = HIGH)

GY521 MPU-6050 Gyroscope Module Features:

Gyroscope Features

  • User-programmable interrupts
  • High-G interrupt

Module Features

  • 9-Axis MotionFusion by the on-chip Digital Motion Processor (DMP)
  • Auxiliary master I2C bus for reading data from external sensors (e.g., magnetometer)
  • 3.9mA operating current when all 6 motion sensing axes and the DMP are enabled
  • VDD supply voltage range of 3.3V-5V
  • Flexible VLOGIC reference voltage supports multiple I 2C interface voltages
  • Minimal cross-axis sensitivity between the accelerometer and gyroscope axes
  • 1024 byte FIFO buffer reduces power consumption by allowing host processor to read the data in bursts and then go into a low-power mode as the MPU collects more data
  • Digital-output temperature sensor
  • User-programmable digital filters for gyroscope, accelerometer, and temp sensor
  • 10,000 g shock tolerant
  • 400kHz Fast Mode I2C for communicating with all registers
