Der ESP-12E basiert auf dem ESP-12, jedoch in erweiterter Funktion. Bei dem Standard ESP-12 wurde noch der Winbound W25Q32BV SPI Flash mit 4Mbit eingesetzt.

Zusätzlich wurden beim ESP-12E 6 weitere Pins des ESP8266EX ausgeführt, sodass nun 6 weitere Pins zur Verfügung stehen. Dies ermöglicht beispielsweise gleich 2 SPI Schnittstellen simultan, ohne Erweiterung zu betreiben.

Zu beachten:

Die zusätzlichen 6 Pins können mittels dem typischen I/O Adapter nicht direkt angeschlossen werden.

Um den ESP-12E zu betreiben werden folgende Bauteile benötigt:

• 3 Widerstände
• 3,3 Volt Netzteil min. 500mA
• USB TTL Konverter

The ESP-12E is an extended Version of the ESP-12. Within the basic ESP-12 Winbound W25Q32BV SPI Flash with 4 Mbit was used.

Additionally ESP-12E has 6 more Pins compared to basic ESP-12. Within those extended Pin Row you can easiely run 2 SPI Interfaces without any hardware extension.

Notes:

The extended Pin Row is not supported by typical I/O Adapter.

For operating an ESP-12E Peripherie as follows requiered:
